About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool, softened teal blue rather than a bright primary blue, with the pile catching light to create subtle tonal movement across the pattern. The compact geometric repeat is set on a pale base and punctuated by narrow dark marks, so the overall effect is orderly and graphic without feeling harsh. Woven in 59% viscose, 23% recycled cotton and 18% polyester, it has the rich handle and visual depth expected of a velvet while keeping the surface textural and refined. With an approximate width of 144cm and a repeat of V 34cm / H 18cm, it is well suited to upholstery where the pattern can be allowed to settle across cushions and panels.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, ottoman or occasional sofa to introduce pattern without overpowering the room. Its cool teal tone works especially well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and darker navy accents.
