Lexi Mink

Zander Velvets VelvetJ0078-02

Lexi Mink has a soft mink-beige ground with a gently mottled, abstract finish that catches the light with a subtle velvet sheen. The darker flecking adds depth without breaking the calm, neutral feel.

About this fabric

This velvet from the Zander Velvets collection is composed of 54% Polyester and 46% Viscose, with an approximate width of 148cm and a vertical/horizontal repeat of 36cm by 37cm. In this colourway, the pile reads as a warm beige with a taupe undertone, lifted by fine darker speckling that gives the surface a softly weathered character. The overall effect is muted rather than high-contrast, so the pattern feels textural and organic rather than graphic. With its velvet handle and smart, restrained palette, it is well suited to upholstery where a touch of sheen and softness is wanted.

How to use it

Use Lexi Mink on an accent chair, banquette or headboard to bring gentle warmth into stone, oak or plaster-toned interiors. Its pale mink shade layers easily with deeper browns, putty neutrals and brushed metal finishes.

A warm neutral velvet that lifts nicely on tailored chairs and pared-back cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lexi Mink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
