About this fabric

This Zander Velvets colourway has a refined vertical striation that reads almost like brushed rainfall, giving the surface a lively but controlled texture. The blue sits in a muted teal range rather than a bright primary tone, so the colour feels calm, slightly smoky and versatile in changing light. As a velvet woven in 60% viscose, 27% cotton and 13% polyester, it has the rich handle and sheen expected of upholstery fabric, with a width of approximately 136cm. The repeat is approximately V 19cm / H 17cm, which helps the pattern hold its rhythm across larger pieces and coordinated furnishings.

How to use it

Use Mira Blue on an occasional chair, ottoman or bench to bring a cooler note into walnut, oak or painted wood interiors. Its subdued teal depth also pairs well with chalk whites, soft greys and darker navy accents.

A cool, textured blue velvet that works neatly on tailored seating or accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
