About this fabric

This velvet is composed of 60% viscose, 27% cotton and 13% polyester, with an approximate width of 136cm and a repeat of V 19cm / H 17cm. The surface reads as a saturated emerald green rather than a bright grass tone, with darker vertical striations that add movement across the pile. Its plush finish and dense look make it especially suited to upholstery, where the shade can bring a sense of depth and refinement. The overall effect is luxurious but not flashy, with the light picking up subtle variations between forest, bottle and jewel green. Fire code √BM is also noted.

How to use it

Use Mira Emerald on a tailored armchair, banquette or ottoman to add a grounded burst of colour. It sits beautifully with walnut, brass and stone, or layered into a scheme with moss, charcoal and cream.

Pair with warm neutrals or dark timber for a rich, grounded scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
