Wilder Green

Wilder FabricJ0229-04

Wilder Green combines a soft mossy ground with a crisp, rhythmic zigzag stripe that feels fresh and composed. The vertical bands give the fabric a tailored look, while the woven texture keeps it from feeling too severe.

About this fabric

Woven in a 45% linen, 36% cotton, 17% viscose and 2% polyester blend, Wilder Green has the natural tactility and slight slub you would expect from a linen-rich cloth. The design repeats in a vertical 40cm pattern with an approximate 44cm horizontal repeat, creating a structured stripe effect across the 132cm width. In this colourway, the green reads as a muted moss with cooler teal notes in the narrower bands, set against a pale neutral ground that softens the overall effect. It feels smart but not stiff, with enough visual interest for statement upholstery or polished curtains.

How to use it

Use Wilder Green to bring quiet movement to an armchair, ottoman or roman blind, especially where you want pattern without heaviness. Its mossy tone works well with oak, warm whites and antique brass, and the cooler stripe detail helps it sit comfortably in modern country or tailored schemes.

A fresh mossy stripe that brings quiet structure to both relaxed and tailored schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wilder Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
