About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric has a tactile, woven character that suits both upholstery and drapery, with a useful 132cm width and a repeat of V 40cm / H 44cm approx. The composition is 45% Linen, 36% Cotton, 17% Viscose and 2% Polyester, giving the surface a natural look with a slightly slubbed, textured finish. In this colourway, the indigo reads cool and grounded, while the rust stripes add a warmer, earthier note that stops the pattern feeling too crisp. The zigzag motif has a rhythmic, medium-scale presence that works well in rooms needing pattern without heaviness.

How to use it

Pair Wilder Indigo with tan leather, bleached wood or chalky neutrals to echo the rust detail and keep the indigo looking fresh. It is especially effective on benches, cushions or relaxed curtains where the woven contrast can sit at eye level.

Use it for tailored cushions or statement curtains where the woven contrast can be seen.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
