Nemus Red

Wilder FabricJ0224-01

Nemus Red pairs a rich brick-red ground with an airy cream botanical trail, giving the design a lively but grounded look. The foliage sits clearly across the surface, with enough contrast to read from a distance without feeling harsh.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in a 34% Cotton, 30% Linen, 21% Polyester, 15% Viscose composition, with an approximate width of 124cm and a repeat of V 38cm / H 124cm. The cloth has a natural, slightly dry-looking surface that suits the crisp outline of the leaf and fern motif. In this colourway, the red is warm and saturated rather than blue-toned, while the motif reads in a soft cream that lifts the pattern and keeps it feeling fresh. It is a versatile textile for both upholstery and drapery where a mid-weight decorative fabric is needed, and the fire code is √BM.

How to use it

Use Nemus Red to add warmth to a sitting room, study, or dining banquette, especially alongside oak, cane, or pale neutrals. The cream leaves soften the red ground, so it works well with antique brass and relaxed natural textures.

Pair with natural linens and warm wood to balance the lively foliage motif.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Nemus Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
