About this fabric

Woven in 87% linen with viscose and polyester for added handle, this fabric has the dry, natural texture you can see in the crisp leaf outlines and lightly slubbed ground. The repeat is approximately V 65cm by H 32cm, creating a neat, staggered botanical pattern that feels ordered without looking formal. In this colourway, the red reads more as softened coral than a strong primary, so it keeps the design warm and approachable. At 129cm wide, it is a practical fabric for curtains, cushions or occasional upholstery where a mid-weight decorative cloth is needed. The overall effect is fresh and calm, with enough contrast in the leaf motif to register clearly without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use Ferndown Red against chalky whites, pale timber and linen textures to keep the palette light and relaxed. It also works well with muted sage or tan where you want the coral notes to feel warmer and more grounded.
