Trentham Red

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11085.450

Trentham Red has a soft coral-red appearance, with fine peach and rose tones visible across its woven surface. The close texture catches the light subtly rather than forming a bold printed motif.

About this fabric

This woven fabric combines 47% viscose, 20% linen, 19% polyester and 14% cotton, creating a finely textured surface with delicate horizontal and vertical variation. Its warm coral-red colour is light and gently muted, reading more like sunlit terracotta-pink than a deep or saturated red. At 137 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 35,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture, while the 1.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the woven effect understated.

How to use it

Use Trentham Red to add a soft, warm lift to a neutral room, particularly on an occasional chair, relaxed sofa cushions or full-length curtains. Its peach-coral tone pairs naturally with ivory, warm taupe, pale timber and aged brass.

A warm coral-red weave that brings gentle colour and tactile depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
