Hopton Parchment

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11086.225

Hopton Parchment has a warm, softly muted beige tone with the quietly irregular character of a close woven textile. Its fine horizontal texture gives the surface gentle depth without introducing a strong pattern.

About this fabric

Woven in 12% linen, 37% cotton, 32% viscose and 19% polyester, Hopton Parchment combines a natural-looking surface with a subtle, closely scaled structure. The parchment shade sits between soft beige and oatmeal, with slightly darker horizontal flecks visible across the face of the cloth. At 137 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture, while the care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Hopton Parchment to bring a warm, light-neutral finish to an armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, balancing its understated woven texture with timber, stone and softly coloured textiles. It also works as relaxed full-length curtains or a bedspread where the parchment tone can keep the room calm and gently layered.

A softly textured parchment beige weave suited to calm upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
