Hopton Green

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11086.735

Hopton Green is a quiet, finely grained weave built from sage, olive and pale neutral threads. Its close-set check creates a softly variegated surface: cool green overall, but gently warmed by the cream and beige flecks visible throughout.

About this fabric

This colourway has a close, tiny-scale woven texture, with muted sage and olive-green threads broken by warm cream and beige pinpoints. The small checked surface reads softly mottled rather than strongly patterned from a distance, giving the green tone subtle depth as the light moves across it. Made from 37% cotton, 32% viscose, 19% polyester and 12% linen, the fabric is 137 cm wide. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its specified use for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use Hopton Green to bring a restrained, botanical feel to a room without introducing a bold motif. Its muted sage base pairs naturally with warm ivory, natural linen, aged timber and soft olive accents on upholstery, curtains or a bedspread.

A durable fine-scale sage weave that works across upholstered furniture, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
