Trentham Ochre

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11085.840

Trentham Ochre has a softly variegated warm ochre tone, with fine woven lines creating a subtle crosshatched surface. Its muted golden-tan colour catches the light gently rather than appearing bright or saturated.

About this fabric

This fine woven textile combines 47% viscose, 20% linen, 19% polyester and 14% cotton, giving the surface its delicate, closely grained appearance. At 137 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The small 1.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat is barely assertive in the swatch, allowing the warm ochre ground and fine weave to remain the focus. A 35,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture; care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Trentham Ochre to bring mellow golden warmth to a neutral sitting room, either on a softly upholstered chair or as full-length curtains. Its restrained tan depth also works well with natural wood, cream linen and darker brown accents.

A warm ochre woven texture for relaxed upholstery, tailored curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
