About this fabric

This textured fabric combines 45% linen, 26% wool, 26% acetate and 3% nylon in a 137 cm width. The close bouclé surface is visibly soft and granular rather than smooth, while the ochre colouring brings warmth without appearing bright or yellow. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for fixed and loose upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the muted ochre-brown shade to warm a reading chair, sofa or upholstered bed, pairing it with dark wood, tobacco leather and softly aged neutrals. Made-up curtains can carry the same golden depth into a room without introducing a separate pattern.

A densely textured ochre bouclé with the durability for upholstery and the weight for substantial curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
