About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and supplied at 140cm wide, Katrine Midas has a sizeable 35cm vertical by 34.5cm horizontal repeat that suits statement upholstery pieces. The check reads as a layered mix of warm mustard, camel, stone and dark charcoal, with the black bands giving the design a sharper, more grounded edge. In the image, the cloth looks medium-weight with a firm, structured handle rather than a fluid drape. NQT1 care instructions make it a practical choice for everyday interiors.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an accent chair, bench or cushions where its mustard-and-charcoal check can bring warmth without feeling overly bright. It also works well with dark wood, aged brass and textured linen in a relaxed country-modern scheme.

Pair with burnt timber and soft neutrals to let the golden checks stand out.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Katrine Midas without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
