Rhythm Ochre

Patagonia Fabric

Rhythm Ochre pairs a woven, block-like geometric pattern with a warm ochre accent that sits against graphite, stone and soft ivory squares. The result feels structured and tactile, with a lively but controlled colour balance.

About this fabric

This Patagonia colourway is woven in 55% viscose, 32% polyester and 13% cotton, with a 140cm width and an 8.4cm pattern repeat. The fabric shows a repeated interlocking grid of small rectangular blocks, with mustard-ochre highlights, charcoal columns, pale stone sections and off-white links. The surface reads as textured and slightly nubby, which softens the strong geometry and gives the design depth when the light catches the weave. Rhythm Ochre feels more earthy than bright, with the yellow toned down into a mustard-gold rather than a clean lemon shade. It is a confident statement fabric that still sits comfortably within a layered interior scheme.

How to use it

Use Rhythm Ochre on an accent chair, ottoman or bench where the block pattern can be seen clearly. Pair it with walnut, limestone tones and matte black details to keep the ochre looking rich rather than overpowering.

Use with pale oak, charcoal and warm neutrals for a crisp but grounded scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Rhythm Ochre without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
