Baker House Boucle Indigo

Baker House Boucle FabricBF10965.680

Baker House Boucle Indigo has a deep, inky blue-charcoal ground that reads almost graphite in the darker areas of the weave. Its close-up surface is densely packed with irregular raised loops, creating a softly mottled, tactile finish rather than a printed pattern.

About this fabric

Woven from 45% linen, 26% wool, 26% acetate and 3% nylon, this 137 cm-wide fabric combines a substantial bouclé texture with a cool, shadowed indigo tone. The uneven loops catch the light in small blue-grey highlights, giving the surface depth while keeping the overall colour restrained and architectural. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for fixed and loose upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the deep blue-charcoal tone on a sofa, armchair or upholstered headboard, where its nubby loops add warmth without introducing a bright colour. Pair it with pale stone, smoked oak or brushed metal to bring out the cooler indigo-grey highlights.

A dense, tactile indigo-blue bouclé with the durability for everyday upholstered seating and the depth to suit refined interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
