Baker House Boucle Parchment

Baker House Boucle FabricBF10965.225

Baker House Boucle Parchment has a warm, parchment-toned beige ground with a fine, irregularly flecked boucle surface. The close texture gives the colour a softly mottled depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

Woven from 45% linen, 26% wool, 26% acetate and 3% nylon, this 137 cm-wide fabric combines natural-looking fibre variation with a dense, tactile handle. The visible surface is a small-scale looped texture in warm beige, shaded by taupe and oatmeal flecks that soften the overall tone. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for both loose and fixed upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. Care requires professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Parchment on a relaxed armchair, sofa or upholstered bed where its warm beige-taupe flecking can add quiet texture without introducing a strong pattern. It also works as softly substantial curtains alongside timber, cream linen and muted earthy shades.

A warm, softly mottled boucle that brings tactile depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
