Baker House Stripe Nutmeg shows closely spaced vertical lines in softly varied nutmeg, beige and warm cream tones. Its fine woven surface gives the stripe a tactile, gently irregular character rather than a stark graphic finish.

About this fabric

This GP & J Baker textile combines 16% linen, 52% polyester and 32% viscose in a 138 cm width. The narrow nutmeg stripes sit against a light beige ground, creating a warm, quietly dimensional colourway that appears softer where the weave catches the light. A 3 cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the linear design finely scaled. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, and it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the warm nutmeg and beige palette to soften a neutral sitting room, particularly on a tailored armchair or relaxed curtain. The fine stripe can add height and subtle structure without competing with patterned cushions or textured furnishings.
