Laverton Stripe Linen

Baker House Plain & Stripe II FabricBF11037.110

Laverton Stripe Linen has a softly warm blush-beige ground, crossed by closely spaced vertical lines in subtly varied pale tones. The fine slub of the linen-cotton weave gives the stripe a gently tactile, natural finish.

About this fabric

This restrained colourway reads as a muted blush beige rather than a cool grey, with the narrow vertical striping creating quiet definition across the cloth. Woven from 45% linen and 55% cotton, it has a lightly irregular surface that softens the precision of the stripe. The fabric is 137 cm wide and has a 7 cm horizontal pattern repeat, making it well suited to curtains and bedspreads. Care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the warm blush-beige tone for full-length curtains in a calm bedroom or sitting room, then carry the fine stripe onto a bedspread for a coordinated but understated scheme. Pair it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and softly aged metallics to preserve its gentle warmth.

A softly textured fine stripe for warm, tailored curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
