Burford Weave Sand

Burford Weave Sand has a softly variegated sand tone with a fine woven crosshatch that gives the surface gentle depth. Its warm beige character shifts subtly between honeyed and taupe notes as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

This woven fabric is made from 48% viscose, 26% linen, 20% cotton and 6% polyester, with a 140cm (55") width. The tiny intersecting weave creates a restrained geometric texture, with a 1cm (.39") vertical repeat and 1.5cm (.59") horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, and has a 25,000 Martindale rub test. Care instructions are professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the warm sand beige on a relaxed armchair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtains where its small-scale texture can add depth without introducing a strong motif. Pair it with chalky whites, natural timber and muted terracotta for a softly sun-warmed scheme.
