About this fabric

The swatch reads as a warm clam beige with a subtle pink cast, changing softly across the surface rather than appearing completely flat. A fine, even vertical weave is visible up close, giving the cloth a restrained linen character without a pronounced motif. It is composed of 45% cotton and 55% linen, with a 137 cm (53.82") width. The supplied usage is curtains and bedspreads; after-care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use Kemble Clam for full-length curtains in a warm neutral room, where its blush-beige tone can soften ivory, oak and pale stone. It also suits a relaxed bedspread when a lightly textured, low-contrast finish is preferred.

A softly textured blush-beige cloth for calm curtains and understated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
