Trentham Parchment

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11085.225

Trentham Parchment has a softly warm beige ground with a delicate, closely woven surface that reads like fine herringbone or miniature chevrons. Its restrained parchment tone gives the swatch a light, quietly textured appearance.

About this fabric

The fabric is woven from 47% Viscose, 20% Linen, 19% Polyester and 14% Cotton, producing a subtly varied surface rather than a flat plain. At 137 cm (53.82") wide, it is suitable for Curtains, Loose Upholstery, Fixed Upholstery and Bedspreads. The fine horizontal pattern repeat is 1.5 cm (.59"), visible as a small-scale broken texture across the warm beige face. A 35,000 Martindale rub test supports its use in upholstered settings, while care requires professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm parchment beige to soften a pale sitting room, or pair it with darker timber and aged brass so the fine woven texture adds depth without introducing a strong pattern. Its calm tone is equally suited to upholstered seating, relaxed curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

A warm parchment neutral with a fine woven texture for relaxed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
