Morton Coral
Burford Weaves II FabricBF11084.310
Morton Coral has a softly muted coral-pink tone, shown here through a fine, closely woven surface with subtle light-and-dark variation. Its quiet texture gives the colour gentle depth rather than a flat, bright finish.

About this fabric
Composed of 64% viscose, 14% cotton, 12% polyester and 10% linen, Morton Coral combines a softly tactile appearance with a fine, compact weave. The warm coral shade leans slightly dusty pink, with the closely spaced threads creating a delicate mottled effect across the surface. At 137 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 35,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture; the fabric must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.
How to use it
Use this muted coral-pink on a reading chair, bench or relaxed sofa to add warmth without the saturation of a vivid orange-red. It also works as softly coloured curtains or a bedspread, where the fine weave can catch light gently across a larger surface.
A warm, softly textured coral weave that brings gentle colour to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Morton Coral is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
