Saxon Green is a quiet, greyed green with a softly weathered appearance rather than a bright or saturated finish. Its close weave creates fine horizontal texturing and subtle tonal variation across the surface.

About this fabric

The fabric is woven from 44% viscose, 21% linen, 13% polyester, 6% wool, 13% cotton and 3% nylon, giving the surface a gently mixed, natural-looking texture. At 137 cm wide, it has a restrained 16 cm vertical repeat and a 2.5 cm horizontal repeat, with no bold motif interrupting the understated weave. A 30,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for fixed and loose upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. Professional dry cleaning is required; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Saxon Green to bring a cool, softened note to an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard, or pair it with relaxed curtains in a room of warm timber and pale neutrals. Its muted depth also works well as a tonal backdrop for natural linens and aged brass.
