Worlds Apart Green/Coral

G P & J Baker X Kit Kemp Stripes FabricBF11059.4

Worlds Apart Green/Coral combines a deep forest-green ground with closely spaced coral lines and ornate cream, tan and charcoal geometric stripes. The dark green gives the colourway a grounded, slightly earthy depth, while the warm accents bring visible energy to the narrow vertical design.

About this fabric

Woven from 60% jute and 40% cotton, this 135 cm wide fabric has a substantial, clearly textured appearance suited to both decorative upholstery and window treatments. Its vertical pattern is built from slim coral pinstripes, pale geometric detailing and warmer ochre-brown bands set against the deep green field. A 3 cm vertical repeat and 27 cm horizontal repeat define the orderly stripe arrangement. With a rub test of 54,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the forest-green ground to anchor a chair, headboard or loose-covered sofa, then pick up the coral lines with warm timber, terracotta or aged brass accents. As curtains or a bedspread, the narrow vertical stripes will add pattern without losing the colourway’s composed, tailored feel.

A richly woven forest-green stripe enlivened by coral lines and intricate cream geometric bands.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Worlds Apart Green/Coral without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
