About this fabric

Woven from 60% jute and 40% cotton, this 135 cm wide fabric has a substantial, tactile appearance suited to both upholstery and window treatments. The dark indigo ground gives the colourway depth, while the rust and ivory detailing adds warm contrast without overpowering the blue. Its vertical pattern repeat is 3 cm and its horizontal repeat is 27 cm, creating closely detailed stripes across the width. With a 54,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo ground to anchor a scheme of chalky neutrals, or draw out the rust accents with terracotta cushions and timber furniture. On a chair or headboard, the narrow geometric stripes will add tailored vertical definition; as curtains, they create a strong graphic frame.

A richly textured indigo stripe that brings graphic rhythm to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
