About this fabric

Made from 100% Polyester FR, this 140 cm wide velvet is specified for fixed upholstery and carries a 100,000 Martindale rub rating. The denim-blue shade sits between slate and softened blue, with a restrained, slightly smoky character. Light catches the short pile unevenly across the surface, creating subtle darker and lighter patches without a visible pattern. It should not be washed, bleached or ironed, and must be professionally dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use this cool denim blue on a sofa, armchair or dining seat to bring calm colour without the intensity of a saturated navy. Pair it with warm timber, chalky neutrals or aged brass to balance the velvet’s cooler tone.
