Baker House Fr Velvet in Cranberry is a deep, saturated red with the soft tonal depth characteristic of velvet. Its smooth surface shifts subtly between dark wine and brighter cranberry as the pile catches the light.

About this fabric

This colourway has a rich cranberry-red tone, leaning towards dark wine in the shadowed areas of the swatch rather than a bright scarlet. The plain velvet surface appears smooth and dense, with gentle directional shading across the pile and no visible motif. Made from 100% Polyester Fr, it is 140 cm (55 inches) wide and specified for fixed upholstery. A 100,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on hard-working upholstered seating; care instructions require professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this deep cranberry shade to give a sofa, occasional chair or headboard a dramatic focal point, especially alongside warm timber, aged brass or quiet neutral walls. Its dark red depth also works well in layered, atmospheric rooms where the velvet's changing sheen can be seen across larger upholstered forms.
