About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep crimson with a slight berry depth rather than a bright scarlet, giving the plain surface a confident, grown-up character. A fine, understated weave is visible across the swatch, softening the intensity of the red without introducing a separate motif. Made from 45% cotton, 40% linen and 15% rayon, it is 137 cm (53.82") wide and suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 30,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on regularly used upholstered pieces; aftercare is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Pair this deep crimson with warm neutrals, aged timber or dusky pinks for a layered scheme, or use it as a concentrated colour note on a chair, sofa or full-length curtain. Its plain woven surface also allows the saturated red to carry the room without competing with patterned furnishings.
