Court Velvet Rose Quartz
Court Velvet VelvetBF11090.403
Court Velvet Rose Quartz is a deep, dusty rose-red velvet with a softly mottled surface and subtle horizontal shifts in the nap. Its restrained variation gives the colour depth without introducing a visible pattern.

About this fabric
The pile catches the light unevenly across the swatch, moving from muted raspberry-red to darker wine-red passages and giving this colourway a softly dimensional finish. Composed of 72% viscose, 21% cotton and 7% polyester, the 137 cm-wide cloth has the plush hand and visual richness associated with velvet. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use for fixed and loose upholstery, as well as curtains and bedspreads. It must not be washed, bleached or ironed, and should be professionally dry cleaned.
How to use it
Use this deep rose-red on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its low-key sheen can add warmth and depth. It can also bring a saturated, softly romantic note to full-length curtains or a bedspread, especially against warm neutrals and aged timber.
A richly shaded rose-red velvet with a soft, lightly varied nap for elegant upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Court Velvet Rose Quartz is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
