About this fabric

This velvet is composed of 72% viscose, 21% cotton and 7% polyester, with a 137 cm (53.82") width. The close, even pile is unpatterned and smooth to the eye, while the pale taupe colouring gives the surface a quiet, powdery depth rather than a strong contrast. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for fixed upholstery, loose upholstery, curtains and bedspreads. Care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this pearl-taupe colourway to soften a darker room or to add a refined, low-contrast finish to a neutral scheme. It works particularly well on upholstered seating, tailored curtains or a bedspread where its subtle pile variation can be seen at close range.
