Baker House Linen II FabricBF11087.140

Eldon Linen Stone has a quiet, plain-woven surface in a pale warm stone shade. The close-up reveals fine vertical slubs and a gently irregular linen texture rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The colour sits between soft beige and muted taupe, with a warm grey cast that gives the cloth a calm, understated depth. Its fine woven texture catches the light subtly, so the surface reads as softly tactile without becoming visibly patterned. Composed of 95% linen and 5% nylon, this 140 cm-wide fabric is supplied for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 40,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on seating, while care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm stone taupe on a relaxed armchair, loose-covered sofa or full-length curtain to soften a room without adding pattern. It works especially well with chalky whites, pale woods and deeper mushroom or olive accents.

A softly textured stone linen for calm upholstery, curtains and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
