Baker House Fr Velvet Nutmeg is a plain, close-toned velvet with a warm nutmeg character. Its softly shifting surface moves between muted taupe, rosy brown and gentle terracotta as the pile catches the light.

About this fabric

Made from 100% Polyester Fr, this 140 cm-wide velvet is specified for fixed upholstery and has a 100,000 Martindale rub test. The image shows an even, unpatterned pile in a subdued nutmeg shade, warmer and more grounded than a cool grey taupe. Subtle changes across the surface give the colour depth without introducing a visible motif or contrast. Care instructions are Do Not Wash, professional dry cleaning only, Do Not Bleach and Do Not Iron.

How to use it

Pair this warm nutmeg velvet with walnut timber, aged brass and creamy neutrals for a softly enveloping scheme. Its muted rosy-brown undertone also works well against deep olive or charcoal accents.
