Trentham Indigo

Burford Weaves II FabricBF11085.680

Trentham Indigo appears as a softly mottled taupe-grey textile, with cool charcoal and warm brown notes moving through its fine, closely set chevron weave. The small-scale surface gives the swatch a quietly dimensional look rather than a flat indigo finish.

About this fabric

This woven blend contains 47% Viscose, 20% Linen, 19% Polyester and 14% Cotton, with a 137 cm (53.82") width. Its tightly repeated 1.5 cm (.59") horizontal pattern repeat forms a subtle herringbone effect, while the mixed taupe, grey and charcoal tones create gentle depth across the surface. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. After care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Trentham Indigo to upholster a tailored armchair or sofa where its cool taupe-grey colouring can sit comfortably with stone, oatmeal and charcoal. It can also add softly textured fullness to curtains or a coordinated bedspread without introducing a bold motif.

The muted taupe-grey ground and fine chevron weave bring understated texture to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
