About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted, earthy clay shade, sitting between warm taupe and softened beige rather than appearing cool or grey. Its 100% linen construction is visible in the subtle variation of the weave and the softly natural surface texture. At 140 cm wide, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, while its 35,000 Martindale rub test supports practical upholstery use. Care requirements are professional dry cleaning only; it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the warm clay-taupe tone to soften an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa, or make relaxed full-length curtains where its lightly varied linen texture can catch the light. It pairs naturally with chalky neutrals, warm timber and deeper rust or olive accents.

A warm, softly textured linen that brings understated depth to upholstered seating, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
