Stanton Linen Chalk has a softly warm, pale chalk tone with the understated texture of natural linen. Its lightly irregular surface catches the light gently without introducing a visible pattern.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% linen, this 140 cm (55") fabric presents as a quiet, near-plain cloth in warm cream rather than stark white. Fine vertical and slightly uneven slubs are visible across the swatch, giving the surface a natural, tactile character. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for fixed and loose upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. The fabric must be dry cleaned professionally; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm chalk colour to soften a neutral sitting room, as a relaxed upholstered chair or sofa covering, or as full-length curtains where its subtle linen texture can show in changing daylight. It also makes a calm, lightly textured bedspread for a pale, natural scheme.
