Tetbury Linens FabricBF11127.407

Stanton Linen Plaster is a softly woven plain linen in a warm plaster shade, sitting between muted peach, clay and light terracotta. Its fine surface texture gives the otherwise solid colour gentle tonal movement.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a fine, lightly slubbed weave with delicate vertical and horizontal variation across the peachy terracotta ground. The warm colour is softened rather than saturated, giving the fabric a sun-washed, plaster-like depth as the light catches the linen fibres. Made from 100% linen and measuring 140 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 35,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on seating, while care is restricted to professional dry cleaning; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this muted plaster tone to bring warmth to a neutral sitting room without introducing a strong pattern, particularly on an upholstered chair, relaxed sofa or full-length curtain. It pairs naturally with chalky whites, warm wood, aged brass and soft clay accents.

A warm, quietly textured linen suited to relaxed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
