About this fabric

The visible cloth combines soft coral-red and subdued olive-green tones, with the green threads adding depth rather than a strong contrast. A compact horizontal-and-vertical construction creates the small repeated texture, reflected in the 2 cm vertical and 7 cm horizontal pattern repeats. It is woven from 46% viscose, 24% cotton, 20% linen and 10% polyester, at a 140 cm width. With a 28,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the warm, softened terracotta tone on an upholstered chair, sofa or bedspread, balancing it with olive, oat or dark timber accents. The fine scale also keeps the pattern composed when used across curtains.

A finely textured red-and-green weave with enough durability for upholstery and enough softness for curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Curzon Soft Red/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
