Curzon Emerald

Essential Colour III - Colour FabricBF11195.785

Curzon Emerald has a muted olive-taupe appearance rather than a bright jewel green, with closely spaced darker and lighter threads forming a fine geometric texture. The surface reads quietly dimensional as the small woven marks catch the light.

About this fabric

This 140 cm (55") fabric combines 46% viscose, 24% cotton, 20% linen and 10% polyester in a compact, micro-scale weave. In the swatch, warm taupe and olive-brown tones are broken by fine darker lines, giving the colourway a softly mottled, tailored character. A 2 cm vertical repeat and 7 cm horizontal repeat keep the design discreet at scale. With a 28,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use Curzon Emerald to bring a grounded olive-taupe note to a tailored armchair, sofa or bedspread, balancing it with warm timber, aged brass and softly contrasting neutrals. Its fine woven pattern also gives curtains enough surface interest without introducing a dominant motif.

A versatile woven with a finely textured, muted olive-taupe surface for tailored upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
