About this fabric

This colourway has a warm, muted earthiness rather than a strong green note, so it sits somewhere between olive and taupe depending on the light. The velvet pile gives it a gentle depth and a subtle tonal shift across the surface, which keeps the plain design feeling rich rather than flat. Made from 60% polyester, 28% recycled polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, it combines a supple handle with a hard-wearing finish. It is 137cm wide, has a Martindale rub test of 100,000 and is suitable for Contract and General Domestic upholstery, as well as curtains. It also carries an FR rating of A to BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 and 1.

How to use it

Use Pampas on a sofa or banquette where its muted olive warmth can anchor timber, stone and linen textures. It also makes an elegant curtain cloth in rooms that need a softer, more grounded alternative to grey.
