About this fabric
This fabric is supplied in a 128cm approximate width and is composed of 63% linen and 37% polyester, giving the surface a natural woven character with a practical handle. The large repeat, measuring approximately V 78cm and H 64cm, supports the scale of the circular medallions and the repeated ornamental sprigs visible across the swatch. Epices shows a warm olive base enlivened by saturated orange-red rings, mustard-gold scrolls, plum accents and bright pink floral details. The overall effect is bold and spirited rather than subdued, with the linen ground softening the intensity of the pattern. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use this colourway where you want a patterned fabric to bring warmth and energy, especially against walnut, aged brass or dark painted wood. It works particularly well in rooms with muted walls, where the olive ground can anchor the scheme and the pink-gold detailing can stand out.
