About this fabric

This plain velvet has no pattern repeat, allowing its colour and pile to remain the focus. In the image, the olive tone reads warm and subdued, with a green-gold cast that becomes lighter along the raised folds and deeper in the recessed areas. At 420 gsm and 144 cm usable width, it has the visual weight expected of an upholstery velvet. The fine construction is specified at 71 threads per centimetre, while the short, even pile gives the surface a quiet, dense texture.

How to use it

Use this olive colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or footstool where its mellow green depth can sit alongside walnut, aged brass, warm neutrals and darker earthy tones. Its directional sheen is especially effective on curved upholstery, where the folds reveal subtle shifts from khaki shadow to soft olive light.
