About this fabric

The smooth pile shifts from a softly illuminated silver-grey to a deeper graphite tone where the nap turns away from the light, giving this colourway a particularly quiet, dimensional character. At 420 gsm, it has the substantial handle expected of a velvet suited to upholstery. The 144 cm usable width and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat make it straightforward to plan across plain upholstered forms. A fine surface structure is also visible in the close view, corresponding with the supplied 71 threads per cm specification.

How to use it

Pair this cool silver-grey with chalky whites, blue-greys and brushed metal for a restrained contemporary scheme. On a sofa, headboard or occasional chair, the shifting nap will add depth without introducing a motif.
