About this fabric

This is a plain Zoffany velvet with a substantial 420 gsm weight and a closely woven construction of 71 threads per cm. The 144 cm usable width makes it practical for upholstery, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats allow the colour and pile to remain uninterrupted across a piece. In this colourway, the cool teal tone is softened rather than jewel-bright, and the directional nap creates visible bands of lighter and darker blue-green as the fabric turns.

How to use it

Use this deep, muted teal on a sofa, headboard or statement armchair to bring cool colour and plush tonal movement into a room. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass or pale neutral walls to balance the shade without flattening its depth.
