About this fabric

This plain velvet is presented in a deep moss green, with a dark, slightly cool tone that becomes softer and more olive where the pile catches the light. The folded swatch shows a fine, even surface and gentle nap direction rather than a printed motif or woven repeat. Weighing 420 gsm and measuring 144 cm in usable width, it has the substantial presence expected of a velvet for upholstery. Its vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, confirming the plain construction.

How to use it

Use this shadowed moss green on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its changing nap will add depth without introducing a pattern. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and quiet neutrals to balance the colour's forest-like intensity.
