About this fabric

This Zoffany velvet weighs 416 gsm, with 144 threads per cm and a 136 cm usable width. The Green/Coral colourway combines deep emerald and mossy foliage with coral-red domes, flowers and fruit, while pale blue sky, cream buildings and lavender peacocks bring lighter accents into the scene. Its large design has a 114 cm vertical repeat and a 136 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the trees, birds, pavilions and distant landscape to read as an expansive continuous garden. The detailed scenic composition and substantial velvet specification make it particularly suited to upholstery where the pattern can be viewed at close range.

How to use it

Use the cool green ground on a statement armchair or upholstered headboard, then pick up the coral pavilion and flower notes with plain cushions or painted woodwork. Pale blue and warm cream accents will keep the elaborate garden scene feeling light rather than overly dark.
