About this fabric

This 285 gsm fabric carries upright thistle-like botanical forms, with pale cream petals and darker charcoal centres standing out against the muted grey-green ground. The repeated stems and flower heads create a measured vertical rhythm, while the distressed-looking tonal variation keeps the motif from feeling sharply graphic. It has a 136 cm usable width, a 34 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 33.5 cm horizontal repeat. With 28 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial mid-weight specification suited to coordinated upholstery and drapery applications.

How to use it

Use this cool grey-green colourway to soften a pale sitting room, pairing it with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and charcoal accents. Its vertical botanical rhythm would work particularly well on relaxed curtains, an occasional chair or patterned cushions.

A softly weathered grey-green botanical for relaxed upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Marketa Logwood Grey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
