Jaipur Deep Moss combines a deep, muted moss-green ground with a lively illustrated scene of tigers, elephants, palms and small flowering plants. The subtly rippled surface gives the colourway a layered, textile-like depth, while the cream, tan and warm ochre figures stand clearly against the green.

About this fabric

The design places cream-and-tan elephants and tigers among palm trees, foliage and delicate flowers, with the deep moss ground carrying a cool, shaded woodland tone. Fine horizontal waviness across the surface breaks up the green and creates gentle variation rather than a flat block of colour. At 265 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric for both upholstery and drapery, with a 142 cm usable width. The pattern repeats every 67.5 cm vertically and 142 cm horizontally, so the larger animal and palm motifs should be considered when planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Pair Jaipur Deep Moss with natural timber, warm ivory and aged brass to draw out the illustrated animals’ cream and ochre details. It would give a reading nook, bedroom curtain or occasional chair a richly enveloping, botanical character without losing the contrast of the pale motifs.

Use the deep moss ground to bring a richly layered, storybook character to upholstery, curtains or coordinating cushions.
