About this fabric

The 425 gsm cloth has a substantial, tactile-looking surface, with fine darker lines showing through the ochre ground around the cream botanical forms. Its 140 cm usable width and 50 m standard length are recorded for this fabric. The pattern repeats over 138 cm vertically and 140 cm horizontally, creating a large, all-over arrangement of overlapping fan-like motifs. With 26.8 threads per cm, this weighty textile is well suited to upholstery where its warm gold and chalky ivory contrast can be appreciated at close range.

How to use it

Use Iliad Gold on an occasional chair, headboard or statement sofa to bring a warm ochre-gold note into the room. Keep surrounding finishes restrained so the ivory botanical forms remain clearly legible against the deep, earthy ground.

Use the warm ochre-gold ground as an earthy anchor, balancing its chalky ivory botanical forms with natural timber and quiet neutrals.
