About this fabric

At 366 gsm, this is a substantial textile with a softly textured surface that supports the bold graphic character of the design. Black deer are arranged among twisting vines, tendrils and stylised leaves, creating a dense vertical rhythm across the golden Tigers Eye ground. The pattern repeats every 59.5 cm vertically and 64.5 cm horizontally, allowing the animal motifs to remain clearly legible when positioned on upholstery. With a useable width of 134 cm, the fabric offers practical coverage while retaining the strong contrast between the near-black linework and warm ochre field.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, footstool or headboard where its ochre warmth can sit against dark timber, walnut or earthy neutrals. Keep surrounding textiles quieter so the black deer and scrolling botanical tracery remain the room’s focal point.

Use the rich ochre ground and black scrolling silhouettes to bring graphic Deco character to an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Deco Deer Tigers Eye/Vine Black without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
